Riches...

A new Dylan double (for me - triple for others) CD, a new Theme Time Radio Hour (TTRH) on Money. It is a nice position for us to be in.
An Interesting Marketing idea - give your music to NPR so they can stream it for a week. This makes the music easy to obtain, free and ultimately irresistible. Then it goes away. The link is down and if your want to hear it, you have to purchase. How many people bought the music after hearing it on NPR who otherwise would not have opened their wallet? I wonder.
Ah the music, though it takes a while, is sublime. Bob wrangling, cajoling, find the heart, the soul of the song. What an exploration, a discovery. What is the essence of the song? Why does it exist? Why is being sung or listened to? In Chronicles, Dylan talks about losing his way and that the Grateful Dead and specifically Garcia always knew how to find the center of the song.
He seems to find the essence in this music. Rock on Bob.

Theme Time Radio Hour - Season 3/1 - Money

XM Radio This link shows times/channels for the show. Can listen online - 7*24 - for $7.99/month. Great value.

Mel Blanc - fellow capitalist Stan Friberg Money

a man who knows what he wants - double-eagle -front of dollar bill valuable

How much does a million dollars weigh? You've seen actors In the movies they have a $1 million dollar payoff in a little satchel -$1 would weigh a ton with 100's a easily manageable 20.4 lbs.

Lefty Frizzell - My Baby's Just Like Money
That was one of the true
If your baby goes from man to man- Nymphomania - not scientfically - 1st laid out, if you pardon the expression by French physician

when it's all said and done, it doesn't matter how much you have because you can't take it with you. Jesse Price played with Count Basie, and it seems like an appropriate song for the last one of the show.
Jesse Price - You Can't Take It With You

one reason you can't take it with you is that it usually leaves before you do.
